  • Improved UI consistency and development velocity by implementing a styled-components library. Reduced content deployment time by migrating to Contentful CMS, enabling non-engineering teams to self-serve.

  • Accelerated feature development for Rooms To Go's e-commerce platform during COVID-era demand spikes, supporting tens of thousands of products managed through a Gatsby/CMS stack.
  • Improved the search experience by augmenting Algolia results with product images. Increased revenue opportunities by building an Add-ons feature directly into the checkout flow.

  • Built editorial tooling in React and Node.js to replace a sunsetting CMS, enabling CNN editors to create and publish news content faster.
  • Developed a real-time collaborative editor for live event coverage using Quill.js and ShareDB — allowing editors to simultaneously contribute to the same story. This fundamentally changed how CNN's editorial team coordinated during breaking news.
